I am honored to serve as 2007-2008 President of the Greater Cleveland Mortgage Bankers Association. I have worked on the board of GCMBA for the past 5 years as the Chair for the Educational and Membership committee and as Vice President and look forward to the upcoming year.

We had great luncheon speakers this past year and look forward to another informative year of speakers. The luncheons alternate monthly between Residential and Commercial Mortgage speakers/topics.

The first Residential luncheon of the year is on September 11, 2007, featuring Bill Cosgrove. Bill is the President of the Ohio Mortgage Bankers Association and the President of Union National Mortgage. He will be speaking about the impact of Ohio's Senate Bill 185 that went into effect in January 2007.

We will, as usual, have an Economic Forecast in January 2008 and are planning on a half day Commercial and Residential Forum this year!
